I am a designer and creative thinker based in New York City. I am—surprisingly—an optimist for the future. Not because the state of the world gives me confidence but because of all the things we have yet to try. Individuals with biases and motivations build systems often with a mindset steeped in the fallacy that there is a zero-sum game where others must suffer or lose out for a system, service, or idea to work. As a designer, I understand everything is designed, meaning everything can be reimagined—from patient care to climate action to public services to responsible AI. I want to work with those eager to rebuild, rethink, redesign, break apart, and replace these exclusionary systems.
